  1. Ryan this one is absolutely awesome–I love the large windows and outside area. Cool post man.

    • Thanks Alex,

I really like the looks of it, it looks more like it belongs in Miami, but hey it is a good :)

      • LOL I can definitely see it in Miami. And I’d know… My parents live there.

  2. Dear The Tiny Life,

  3. What’s the cost of renovating the container and bringing it up to code?

    • It really depends on if you do the work or if you hire someone. But regardless it is cheaper than a stick built home. I have seen really decked out ones go for $100-150 per square foot which includes the cost of the container. Then I have also see people do them for around $10-15 k

  4. You could almost take two of these and attach with a breezeway type construction so that you’d have a kitchen area……very cool

  6. This is the only place I’ve ever seen that seems to make good use of space – I’ve posted more ideas in the link above.

  7. Try a round shower track directly over the toilet seat. Then store towels and cosmetic baskets on open shelving over the back of the toilet.

    Kitchenettes are so practical!

Store wardrobe and kitchen items under a daybed or sofabed. Cupboards and closets are not really needed.

  8. Is there a shower or a bathtub? And where is the bedroom located. I love the house, though.

  9. I really do like this idea! Where and who did this home for you? Cause I been looking online to find a container place that builds homes.
